With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Jean Browning, who died peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 81.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents Harold and Gertrude Kofoed; and her brother-in-law Bruz Cook.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband John Browning; sister Gail Cook; her brother Gary Kofoed (Cora); her children Lorelee Hamilton (Scott Corden), Darren Lines (Allison), Kim Hardisty, and Scott Browning (Zenaida); her grandchildren Madison, Mackenzie (Shane), Mitchell, Mnessa (Matthew), Riley, Wesley (Patricia), Carsen, Jaret (Stephanie), and Brian; and her great-grandchildren Azayah, Elijah, Deagan, and Asher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins in Nova Scotia, Toronto, and Denmark.
Cremation has occurred. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. A reception for family and friends will follow the interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
The family extends sincere thanks to the caring staff at Extendicare Oakview Place for their compassion and care.
